Hospitality branding in Hawaiʻi
Hotels, resorts, bars and wellness. One system that holds from the booking page to the signage on the wall.
A guest meets a hospitality brand about eight times before they ever reach the front desk: the search result, the booking page, the confirmation email, the sign on the road, the door, the menu, the room, the bill. Most properties have a different brand at each of those touchpoints, because a different vendor made each one.
The through-line is the work
What we build is the system that stops that happening — identity, colour, type and guidelines specific enough that a sign shop, a printer and a web team all land in the same place without you refereeing.
For a property with several outlets, that also means deciding what each one is allowed to do differently. A hotel bar should not look like the spa. It should look like it belongs to the same house.
The room is part of the brand
Most branding studios stop at the screen. We design the space too — layout and flow, materials and finishes, signage and wayfinding — because the room is where a guest actually forms an opinion, and because a brand that only exists in files is not finished.
Creative direction across a launch
Creative direction is the piece that keeps a launch or a reopening coherent: campaign concepting, art direction, and the photo and video direction that fills the whole thing. One person holding the visual argument together while several teams execute it.
Photography that matches the property
Interiors, food and drink, detail and team portraits, plus short-form video — shot on location and delivered sized for the site, the OTA listings, the print and the feed, so you are not cropping the same frame four different ways.
And the site it all lands on
The website carries the weight of it: fast, calm, and obvious about how to book, order or find you. For properties with restaurants inside them, the menu and ordering side is its own piece of work.

Hospitality branding, answered
What does hospitality branding actually cover?
The identity and the system that carries it: logo and lockups, colour, type, and guidelines a printer, a sign shop and a web team can all work from and get the same answer twice.
Then the applications — signage, menus, print, packaging, the website — and the creative direction that keeps them pointed the same way.
Do you work with hotels and resorts as well as independents?
Yes. The work is the same shape at both ends: figure out what the place actually is, build a system that expresses it, then apply it consistently. Bigger properties usually need more of the guideline work, because more people are applying the brand without you in the room.
Can you handle the interiors too?
We design commercial spaces — layout, flow, materials, fixtures, signage and wayfinding. For a hospitality brand the room is not a separate project from the identity; it is where most guests actually meet it.
Structural and code work goes to the appropriate licensed professionals. We do the design.
We have an existing brand. Will you want to replace it?
Not by default. Plenty of hospitality work is extending a brand that already works — new outlet, new restaurant inside the property, a refresh that keeps the equity. We will tell you honestly if we think a rebuild is the right answer, once, and then do what you decide.
Do you work across the islands and beyond?
We're based in Lāhainā and work across Oʻahu, Kauaʻi and Hawaiʻi Island, and further when a project calls for it. Space design and shoots need us on site, so travel goes in the scope where it applies.
How is a project like this priced?
Quoted after a consult, with a written proposal and a fixed scope. Hospitality projects sit at the larger end of what we do because they usually involve identity, applications, photography and often the space — but you see the scope and the number before anything starts.
